Blog#3: Museum I have been to(shinji)

The museum I have been to is Hiroshima museum. It is close to Gembaku dome of world heritage. This is the page
In Hiroshima museum, there are masterpieces of world wide famous painter. For example, Millet and Manet, Monet, Renoir and so on. In these, The most favorite painter is Renoir. His paintings make me relaxed because these are painted softly. He painted many famous paintings. Do you know "Jugement de Pâris" and "Place de la Trinité, Paris"? Hiroshima museum has these his paintings. I think that one of the most famous paintings of Renoir is "Bal du Moulin de la Galette". This painting is displayed at Orsay museum. I want to see it someday.
In the world, there are many masterpieces. If these paintings came to Japan, I would want to see its.
this is "Bal du Moulin de la Galette". this is the most famous painting I think.

  1. Shinji,
This is Ms. MacGregor. I love Renoir too, and saw Bal du Moulin de la Galette in Tokyo several years ago. Did you go to the Clark exhibition this spring? If not, you missed seeing 22 Renoir paintings that have never appeared outside the U.S. The exhibition is now in Kobe, I think so if you really want to see it, I suggest you go while it is Japan. Besides Renoir, there are many paintings by Impressionist artists. It is fabulous. Google Clark Exhibition to find out more.
