My reed case and new reeds.
Whenever I get reeds, I name those. By naming reeds, I can understand respective features of reeds (for example, this reed is off pitch, that reed has mild tone, etc). So I named these new reeds "Alexios" and "Basileios" from the right. Alexios's feature is hard tone. So I probably will not use this reed on the concert. I don't use Basileios yet. I'm looking for using this reed on today's practice.
"The Sound of Music Selections for Orchestra" is very difficult for me. But I like this music and I like playing the oboe. So I will do my best.

ReplyDeleteHi. I'm Mamiko. I surprised at you naming each oboe. And "The Sound of Music Selections for Orchestra" is wonderful. I like it too! It has a lot of songs I have heard. I want to listen to it live. Do you belong to an orchestra? You will make it good! Try hard!

ReplyDeleteI think it fun to name oboe. I hope you are able to play oboe!!
Hi, this is Ms. MacGregor. Your concert is today! I hope you had a lot of people come and that you are happy and satisfied after the concert. Did you play well? By the way, how long does a reed usually last? I know they are very sensitive to the changing weather. How do you keep them when the air is dry or humid?
ReplyDeleteHi, i'm Natsumi. I played "The Sound of Music Selections" at my school festival in my second year in high school. I like this music! I cheer your practicing the oboe!
